Träd, Gräs och Stenar (Sweden)

Träd, Gräs och Stenar - which translates into Trees, Grass and Stones - is a band rooted thirty years back, with a dubious key role in Swedish underground the years 1967 – 1972, playing an ageless trance-music in a contemporary suggestive, rhythmic heart pumping and sound streaming format.

Pärson Sound, Harvester, International Harvester – Träd, Gräs och Stenar – That sums up the story from 1967 and to date. They were pioneers in many areas: They helped start the legendary "Gärdet" parties, for example, and they were forerunners in the so called "Green Wave" in the 70’s with everything that involved: moving to the countryside, growing your own vegetables, macrobiotic food etc.

They have long been a cult band in the U.S. and the new re-releases of Harvester and International Harvester albums are sold in the hippest of Manhattan record stores to the delight of fans who have scoured the second hand shops for the original records at extortionate prices.
