ETHNO 2004 (All over the World)

Ethno  is Falun Folkmusik Festivals very special project of love.

Every year, about one hundred of young folk musicians come together before and during the festival. Ethno is about teaching your own music dances and ballads to people from other countries and in turn learning from them. The participants The program is full of workshops, dance evenings, excursions and concerts. Visitors to Falun during ETHNO can't help but will noticing their presence many times and in many ways.

As always the final night of ETHNO is celebrated with a concert where the participants can share their skills and enthusiam with the audience. earler on in the festival ETHNO present thair tradition evening of dance and music.


Ethno is produced by Rikskonserter and is a joint enterprise of Rikskonserter and Falun Folkmusik Festival AB with support from The Swedish Fiddler's Association, Jeunesses Musicales International (JMI) and The International Council for Traditional Music (ICTM).
