BA CISSOKO (Guinea)

Their music is about family and origins: they spring from the Griots and the Mandings and these three Guineans shine in a peculiar Reggae-Rock with just one bass and more importantly: two koras.

Ba Cissoko and his fellow musicians extract a new breed of sound from their ancestral African harps, groovy and surprisingly urban like today’s Guinea’s new wave.
