Nordic Rhythms

Björn Tollin, a famous Swedish folk musician perhaps best known as a member of Hedningarna, has for many years worked with percussion in Nordic folk music. Now you have a chance to share in his knowledge and experience and expand your own musical style and techniques.

In the class you’ll play on drums and a variety of percussion instruments and even work with tambourines if there is interest. It’s good if you have tried drumming with djembe, congas, drum sets or the like at least a little bit before.

Participants should bring their own drum.
