Have you always wanted to learn traditional Irish Step Dancing but were afraid to try? Kieran Jordon will offer a course in traditional Irish Step Dancing for anyone who has always wanted to learn the great dancing that goes with the wonderful reels, slip jigs, hornpipes and jigs of Irish Music. She has a way of teaching the steps in Irish dance that will make it extremely accessible and fun and is equally at home teaching the most beginning student the basics right up to the most experienced dancer the subtle intricacies of the various styles. Kieran Jordon performs solo Irish step dancing in a spirited and soulful style. Originally from Philadelphia, she has danced for 20 years in competitions and performances throughout North America and Ireland. She is a joyful, expressive dancer who focuses on rhythm and percussion, simplicity and grace. She will be accompanied by Graham Dezarn and Sam Amidon, two of the young fiddling virtuosos of Irish Traditional music in the United States.
