The vallhorn (The herdsman’s horn) and Shepherd music is sometimes called the birth mother of Swedish music. The magic of this instrument is heard every year at the famous annual festival concert “A Magic Night at Stångtjärn”. At this course you will learn how to make your own vallhorn. You will also learn the playing technique on your self-made instrument. You don’t need any prior knowledge. In fact, you even don’t have to be practical. Instructor: Pelle Pettersson from Leksand.
