These quotes have been heard at one of Stockholm’s hot nightclubs where the salsa makes the dance floor swing. The Salsa was born through a mixture of son, which is one of the oldest Cuban dances, and other Caribbean rhythms in New York in the 1960s.This is a beginner’s course, where you will earn the basic steps, some figures and feel the rhythm in the Salsa. No prior knowledge is required. Participating couples will be given preferential status. The instructors for the Salsa course are two of Sweden’s most popular and most engaged teachers within this area - Gunilla Skog and Argelio Siloga Ramirez. They both have several years of teaching experience and also teach together at the Danscompagniet in Stockholm. Gunilla also teaches at Ballet Academy in Stockholm.
