Irish Dance

Who doesn’t remember the TV broadcast from the Eurovision Song Contest in Dublin. Dancers in a row with arms straight down along their bodies performing an amazing tap dance to marvelous music. These four minutes of Irish dancing opened up the world to one grand show after another and most of us have seen one of them.

FFF this year offer two levels, an introduction course and an advanced course of Irish (Ceíle) dance.

Introduction course
To participate in this course you don’t need any prior knowledge in Irish dancing. You will learn the basics, get to know and understand the music. We will also develop the steps into shorter dances. Focus will in the beginning be on soft shoe dancing which will give you the movement pattern, the technique and the strength that is needed for the tap shoe dancing.

Fee: 1 600 SEK.

| sunday - friday morning |

Advanced course
This level is intended for those who have done some Irish dancing or are an experienced dancer. After the course you should have a good command several of the basic dances.

Fee: 1 600 SEK.

Instructors are Caroline De Flon & Peter Larsson from the Irish Dance Project. They are trained in Ireland where they also have appeared on stage. They have participated in prestige events in Sweden such as Globen.
