FFF offers a course for string instruments with Hållbus Totte Mattsson as instructor. We will create a ”folk string orchestra” where you and your instrument get the opportunity to try different functions in songs from the Nordic folk music tradition. We will listen and try the different styles within this type of guitar music that has developed during the 1980s. During the course different string musicians will visit the classes.This course is directed towards you who play string instruments in folk music contexts and longing for some tips and ideas, and for you with classical note reading who want to learn by ear.Totte has been a part of and inspired the guitar music for the last 20 years, for example in Groupa and Gubbatrion. Today he can be heard in Hedningarna and Boot using different instruments. He is an experienced pedagogue and in his classes he uses learning by ear. As starting point he uses the multitude of exciting styles that has developed within Swedish modern folk music tradition. Fee: 1 600 SEK. | wednesday-friday |
