Tango is music, dancing and much, much more – it's a big passion and a way of living. It is about love, desire, zest for life, but also about how it fells to lose and miss. This years Tango course is mainly aimed towards beginners, but also for those who want to return to the basics for refreshment. Vamos a bailar este tango? The art of embracement is another name for this dance that was created in the harbours around Rio de la Plata that also captured the heart of Evert Taube in the 1920s. We learn the basic steps and get a taste of the Latin culture that has made an art of the communication between man and woman. This is not an ”macho dance” but a sophisticated game between masculinity and femininity. The instructors are Tommy Persson and Christina Ramirez, who have been dancing and teaching Argentinean Tango for ten years. Caminata, salida, ochos, giros, parada, boleo, gancho… Are you curious?
