J T Lauritzen & Buckshot Hunters - Norway

It is always a pleasure to introduce great new artists. J T and his Buckshot Hunters aren’t exactly newborn, but this is the first time that they present their roots-scented swinging mix of blues and rock n’ roll in Dalarna. The recipe is simple and effective; take a handful of New Orleans music, like Dr John or the Neville Bros. etc., add some rocking Texas blues, Thunderbirds style, put the heat on and then spice it up with lots of Norwegian go.

The band consists of Jan Tore Lauritzen, vocals, accordion and harmonica; Arnfinn Törrisen, guitar, Paul Wagnberg, hammond B3 organ; Atle Rakvåg, bass, percussion, backing vocals and Jon Grimsby, percussion.
